Homespiration

Every week, I post new home decor ideas. I hope that my creativity will give you some inspiration.

Space

This weeks post is going to be about space, and how you can maximize the space you have. If you live in London, like me, you will know that space is very hard to come by. So that's why I think it is really important for me to share my ideas with you.

I was inspired to do this post when I watched this video by 'Decorating small spaces'...

Their ideas are amazing and so useful...

More Than One Use

One of the best ways to maximise space in your living room, bedroom, bathroom or office is to purchase furniture that does more than one job. Here are some cool examples I found...

Turn your bed space into a storage and working space as well.

Who said bunk beds have to be boring?

Now that's just crazy... (totally my dream bedroom)

In The Middle

When it comes to adding definition and style to a room, the number one rule is to never squash everything against the walls. Instead place some pieces in the centre of the room and turn them into stylish features. This will give you a lot more spacious feel as well as modernising the room.

Hope you enjoyed my post and that it gave you some Homespiration!

Hey My Babies CC here

Just letting you know that I have another Homespiration post going up tomorrow. it is going to be about keeping your desk cute but also functional. So if you're interested in organisation and things like that *stick around* ;)

Hey My Babies, CC here

Today's Homespiration post is going to be about desk organisation and personalization.

I, myself am going through some 'desk-trauma' right now trying to get everything on my desk, and still give me room to work and look neat and tidy.

So I found some really good ideas in Ikea in the office section to give you that extra bit of space, organization and personalization on your desk.

Here are a few images I found on the Ikea website.

Personalization

This is an example of a really personalised space. Here they have created a really colourful but neat work area. The white walls, white desk and white shelving units, make colour stand out and turn it into a fun office space. They have maximised the space by using draws on wheels and sliding them under a small table. this creates not only easy storage but also some extra table space for folders and boxes.

Organization

Here is a really clever idea that I've seen everywhere recently. Hanging folders on the walls can provide you with easy access to all of your important papers. You can organise each section into categories like Homework, Essays, Forms and just anything you want... And it also means no more clutter in your drawers or on your desk.

Space

Here's an idea for everyone who's struggling with space. Not everyone is able to have a desk which is why I think this is such a clever way of tackling that issue. This is a mini desk on wheels that you can put it away easily, doesn't take up much room and, with that extra space underneath, can be an ideal storage unit. I think it's perfect.

And of course there are many other amazing ideas at Ikea like the L shape desk with cork boards around the sides.
